Chicago Snowballs
Graphic Designer - March 2026 to Present
The Chicago Snowballs were established in September 2025 with a few shoddy AI-developed graphics and a dream. In March of 2026, they sought out their first graphic designer. I lucked into this role, dove headfirst, and haven't looked back.
The first hurdle for any new brand is establishing. During my time with the Snowballs in their inaugural season, I have been tasked with finding design solutions to establish the Snowballs brand. This includes brand development ranging from visual identity, developing brand assets, strengthening social media presence, and creating physical media to create a "Snowballs" atmosphere at all events. This includes scoreboard and print graphics for gameday events.
As the Snowballs' graphic designer, I have worked with my teammates to develop a visual identity across all mediums. I have spent my time here flexing my creative muscles and working alongside my team to reach a common goal regarding visual identity. All featured graphics, aside from the logos, have been created and developed by myself and approved by my team.
Working at a startup doesn't grant the luxury of time. It tasks you with a massive workload and demands quick turnaround and effective, quality work. As the only designer here, I have a unique and fun opportunity to work with my team to find what works in an efficient and effective manner.

Below is a small sample of the master design system applied to videoboards at venues for the Chicago Snowballs events. The entire design system contains over 100 graphics and is designed for brand consistency, flow-of-show, and to encourage fan engagement during games.
These graphics are designed as templates to be reapplied to all videoboard dimensions, as screen sizes vary from venue to venue. This ensures design consistency across all events.
