My name is Timothy Matoba. I am a graphic and web designer based in Chicago, Illinois. I studied Graphic Design at Columbia College Chicago.
My passion for design dates back to my childhood, when I read through old Rolling Stone magazines and admired the advertising and layout design packed within these pages. From there, my interests grew into my passion for achieving branding and design solutions. Graphic design offers a rare opportunity to blend creativity and business into a harmonious relationship; great brands strengthen themselves through art and creativity alongside strategic marketing. There is a lingering need for businesses to constantly adapt to trends while simultaneously pushing the needle when given the chance; the designer is tasked with understanding how this is best achieved.
